In sunny California back in 2017, we first crossed paths during a work talent program. Fast forward, and what started as a professional connection blossomed into an awesome friendship. We teamed up to start a cool startup, qlair, in 2018. And man, did we make a great team. Sure, we had our fair share of arguments and debates about where to take the business, but we always found a way to figure things out and keep moving forward.

Then COVID barged in, throwing everything for a loop. Navigating the crazy pandemic rollercoaster, we found comfort and strength in each other. Marcel decided to play the distance game by moving to Germany in 2021, but hey, that only made us even tighter. Ellie, missing her partner in crime, leaned on the digital world to keep the daily banter alive.

Life kept doing its thing, and Ellie started thinking about a major change. The call of family in Europe got too loud to ignore. So, in 2022, she went all-in, packed up her life, and landed in Germany. Talk about a plot twist that sealed our fates even more. 🌍
